FEXIBLE EDITING

EDITED I put a smart layer with a gradient mask over the image and then went over the flower with a white paint brush to erase the mask and bring the yellow out.

ORIGINAL  Taken just outside the library at BYU-I. FN6.3 Exp.1/400
Original

FN 10 Exp. 1/500 this image was to dark in the trees and to light in the sky.

I applied a smart non-destructive exposure layer to the whole image. Which i used to lighten the trees up.I used the quick selection tool to do this to only the trees and river bank. This was not needed on the sky that was already blown out. I then applied a i then applied a photo filter layer yo yhe sky and water i used the color blue for the filter. I then took the paint brush to remove the blue hue from the clouds so the sky had some real color and the clouds were white as our eyes see them.

you did a killer job doing the selective color on the flower, and great on the river shot as well! I love how you can see the rays of light, and the incredible detail of the clouds.

Levi- Your sky and water looks so cool! The blue is really pretty! You did a really nice job editing it! I also really like your flower picture, desaturated the background really emphasized the flower!
